“Welcome to level seven,” agent Coulson says as he rises from the dead as a member of the Strategic Homeland Intervention Enforcement and Logistics Division.

While reviews of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s acting have been mixed according to comments from, the humor in this show was well worth any acting flaws.

And apparently Thor’s arms make him a god, but who didn’t already know that?

The show takes place just after The Avengers movie. Constant references to the movie give you a sense of timeline.

In the pilot episode, a drug similar to ones used in Captain America is creating superheroes.

Code name: Centipede.

The doctor who made the drug is currently unknown; the side effects include increase aggravation, questioning your existence, and the occasional spontaneous exploding of people who have the drug in their system.

Agent Coulson and his team of level seven security clearance co-workers, dive right into the weird to contain centipede and stop the doctor who is creating the drug.

While this show is just past it’s pilot episode, good things are projected from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

You can watch the new episodes of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as they air at 7:00pm on ABC.
