Worried about what classes you need for next semester? Wondering what to prepare for in the year ahead? Well, no worries. Advising and registration begin next week for those of you who need that extra push in the right direction.
Advising will begin from early to mid-next week, with Wednesday, March 28 being the official set date for advisors to meet with students. Advisors will be on hand to answer questions and help decide which courses you should take and which ones will be available in the 2012 Fall semester.
NOTE: Students are required to meet with advisors in order to receive their registration codes.
Each student should have a set registration window – if you do not know, ask your adviser or the time should be available on your E-services page.
Registration for current students will start at 8 a.m. on Thursday, March 29 and should subsequently open for everyone at set specific times.
NOTE: For current students, it is advisable to print out a current copy of your DARS report from your E-services page and bring it with you when meeting with your advisor.
For incoming freshmen or any other students who may be interested in Southwest Minnesota State University, registration will be held on April 16, 17, 23 and 24. Check-in will start at 8 a.m. and the program will run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The programs will have information on registration as well as update students on the cost of tuition, room and board, etc. Other topics will include financial aid and campus tours. There will also be opportunities to set up your SMSU email and registration accounts.
