We’ve all heard of donating old clothes and canned food to community shelters, donating books to the library and donating money to various charities, rescue missions, etc. All of these donations can improve a life. By donating your blood, you will be helping save even more lives.
Southwest Minnesota State University will be holding their bi-annual blood drive in the Lower Conference Center on Wednesday, April 11 from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
If interested in donating your blood, the sign-up locations will be in the Lower Student Center on these dates:
•April 2, 4, 6, 10
AND also in the Lower BA/CH Link on these dates:
•April 3, 5, 9
Sign-up at either of these locations between the hours of 11:45 a.m. – 1:15 p.m. If you cannot sign-up during these times, just register online at
By donating your blood, even just one time, you can save up to three lives. That’s huge. By taking a little time out of your day to donate blood, you can help save lives.
Not sure whether you would like to donate or not? Not sure if you should register? That’s okay. Walk-ins are encouraged the day of the blood drive if you decide to donate.
SMSU will hold another Blood Drive later this fall for those who are unable to donate on Apr. 11.
