The Southwest Minnesota State University will travel the culinary world, figuratively speaking, as the International Student Organization prepares to host its 24th Annual International Food Festival March 29 from 5-7 p.m. in the upper level Student Center.

Many international students will have the opportunity to present their culture and their country’s delicacies for the faculty, staff and students of SMSU as well as the Marshall community. Over 120 international students will present a variety of foods and cultures at this event, featuring over twenty different countries.

Previous countries represented at the International Food Festival include Jamaica, Ghana, Japan, China, Mexico, Nepal, India, Somalia, Kenya, Thailand, Malaysia, Korea, U.S.A. and many more.

Tickets for the event will only be sold in advance with only 250 total tickets available. Ticket prices are $7 for adults and $5 for children (ages 5-12). Any child under five years of age will be given free admittance. To purchase tickets, visit the ISO office, located in SC 237, or call 507-537-6445.
