I may or may not frequently talk about how good-looking Channing Tatum is. I may or may not watch several horrible films because he’s in them. I may or may not be approaching level five stalker status. Scratch that last one. I’m not that crazy, but I have been certified borderline obsessed since 2006.
Channing Tatum is a young actor known for his involvement in many films including “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra,” “The Vow,” and “Dear John.” Most likely you remember him for his physical features though because none of his acting performances are memorable.
In 2000, Tatum was discovered on the street by a modeling talent scout, which led to his experience in the fashion industry working for companies like Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, and Abercrombie & Fitch. He soon moved on to television commercials for products such as Mountain Dew and Pepsi. In 2001 he was picked as one of Tear Sheet magazine’s 50 Most Beautiful Faces.
Tatum decided to pursue an acting career full time in 2004 after booking his first real acting job on an episode of “CSI: Miami.” He booked several minor roles in feature films such as “Coach Carter” and “Supercross.” In 2006, he played the lead role in “Step Up,” which led to him stealing my heart and becoming the mediocre leading man he is today.
At this point, I’m convinced the perfection that is his face is the reason he’s made it this far in the entertainment industry. I for one do not have a problem with that. He’s not the first or last star in Hollywood to make it big due to beauty or sex appeal so as long as I get to look at him, I’m not complaining.
The love I have for Channing Tatum and his face can not be measured. He may not be the greatest actor on the planet but as long as he takes his shirt off, I will watch any project he makes an appearance in. It’s shallow, I know, but also very true.
