Following the Republican National Convention, the Democratic National Convention was held Sept. 2-6 in Charlotte, N.C.
With the G.O.P electing Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan as president and vice-president candidates, respectively, the Democratic Party chose Barack Obama and Joe Biden for a re-election.
“After a decade that was defined by what we bought and borrowed, we’re getting back to basics and doing what America’s always done best. We are making things again,” Obama said.
He continued his speech with plans for the future and about two different paths Americans can choose between in this upcoming election.
With the audience cheering “four more years, four more years!!” throughout his speech, it is clear that Obama’s supporters are with him all the way.
Other key speakers included Biden, Julian Castro, Elizabeth Warren, Bill Clinton, Sandra Fluke, Caroline Kennedy, Tim Kaine and many more.
